Already smooth and approachable, the 2008 Charnu is a fitting successor to the spectacular 2007 vintage.

The 2008 Charnu is ready to be enjoyed now, but will also benefit from time in the cellar.

Winemaker Tasting Notes

The 2008 Charnu is a dark garnet color with a rich nose of black fruits, boysenberry and clove. The wine is already quite relaxed; it is extremely smooth and approachable. Exotic notes of cardamom and bergamot add spice to the fruit packed palate. The wine culminates with exceptionally fine and smooth tannins, which lead to a long toasty finish.. The 2008 Charnu is ready to be enjoyed now, but will also benefit from time in the cellar.
